About this app

The Amazon Shopper Panel is an opt-in, invitation-only program where participants can earn monthly rewards by sharing receipts from purchases made outside of Amazon and answering surveys.

Earning rewards is easy. Simply upload 10 eligible receipts per month by using the Amazon Shopper Panel app to take pictures of paper receipts or by forwarding email receipts to receipts@panel.amazon.co.uk. You’ll receive a reward when you submit 10 or more eligible receipts in a month. You will also receive short surveys about brands or products that may be of interest to you and you can earn rewards for each survey you complete.

Your participation will help brands offer better products and make Amazon ads more relevant.

Participation in the Amazon Shopper Panel is voluntary and you can stop using the app, sharing receipts, or answering survey questions at any time. You can also delete any uploaded receipts.

VpnService Utilization: If you enable the ad verification feature, the Amazon Shopper Panel will utilize Android's VpnService to setup a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection. The Amazon Shopper Panel will not install a VPN on your device but does use VPN device permissions to setup an Amazon DNS (https://panel.amazon.co.uk/#faq-how-panel-using-ads), which enables Amazon to collect and use information about the ads you see from Amazon. This can include Amazon’s own advertising or ads from third-party businesses that advertise through Amazon Ads. The Amazon DNS set up is not required to enable the other Amazon Shopper Panel features. You can opt out of ad verification at any time.

The Amazon Shopper Panel is available to a limited number of Amazon customers in the UK. If you received an invitation, download the app now. Interested customers who did not receive an invitation can download the app to join the waitlist and will be notified via email if space becomes available.

How do I close my Amazon account?

If you wish to delete only your Amazon Shopper Panel data or opt out of the program, you may do so through the Amazon Shopper Panel app.

Two issues... 1) I get a notification for a new survey, I tap on it and nothing happens, the app doesn't even load. 2) I have a survey currently to complete. I go to the Surveys section and there is nothing, just a solitary lowercase d on the screen almost in the top-left of the page.

I've had to revise my rating downward, as the app has ceased to work properly. When I try to scan a receipt, the camera now acts like a really old, clumpy app, taking ages to position and focus. When I can eventually scan, the app gets stuck continually "processing", licking up all the processing power of my phone (a Google Pixel). I don't want to uninstall yet, as I don't want to lose this month's scans, but I can't keep using the app, so it will have to go at the end of this month.

Since Last Update: The App itself works for intended purpose for scanning receipts and receiving surveys. But in the background the internet is passing through Amazon Shopper Panel and is interfering with Web Browsing, Web Links and some Apps. The VPN is interfering with my normal usage and I have to keep turning it off, then it turns itself back on! This not good, please fix ASAP!
